Bespoke Tailor in Singapore, Since 1979

A bespoke tailor since 1979. Suits, jackets, tuxedos, shirts and trousers, each drafted to your own pattern and fitted at the atelier on Tras Street.

What bespoke means here

Bespoke tailoring begins with a blank page.

Ron & Rich is a bespoke tailor in Singapore perfecting the art of fine craftsmanship since 1979. As a suit tailor in Singapore, our house cuts suits, jackets, shirts and trousers for discerning gentlemen, each from an individual pattern drafted from scratch.

At Ron & Rich your pattern is drafted from scratch around your measurements, tested at a basted fitting and refined by our master tailor across several stages until the garment is complete. Good tailoring is fit, proportion and balance together; a garment can fit and still not look right.

Where made-to-measure adapts an existing template, drafting every pattern anew gives us the freedom to shape a silhouette to how you stand and move. Founded by master tailor Richard Fan and led today with his son Aaron, the house has worked this way since 1979.

A Singapore tailoring house since 1979

Founded in 1979 by master tailor Richard Fan and led today together with his son Aaron Fan, Ron & Rich brings decades of bespoke experience to gentlemen in Singapore. The house cut is defined by soft shoulders, clean lines and a natural drape, built on lightweight canvassing for the tropics. We treat tailoring as a living discipline: tradition respected, and reinterpreted where it serves the wearer.

Bespoke tailoring FAQs

How much does a bespoke suit cost in Singapore?

A bespoke suit at Ron & Rich starts from $2,170 and a tuxedo from $2,270, both fully canvassed and including GST. The final price depends on your cloth. Trousers start from $290 and shirts from $199.

What is the difference between bespoke and made-to-measure?

Made-to-measure adjusts an existing standard pattern to your measurements. Bespoke starts with a new pattern drafted from scratch, then refines proportion, balance and stance across several fittings for a truly individual silhouette.

How many fittings does a bespoke suit take?

Expect two to three fittings after your first consultation. Because every body and posture is different, our master tailor schedules as many as needed until the drape, balance and fit are settled.

How long does bespoke tailoring take?

Allow 8 to 12 weeks for a suit or tuxedo, and three to four weeks for trousers and shirts. If you are dressing for a wedding or an event, book well ahead of the date.

Is bespoke tailoring only about fit?

Fit is the starting point. True bespoke is equally about proportion, balance, construction and cloth, and how the garment flatters your frame from every angle.
