The full terms are set out below. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to every consultation, fitting and commission with Ron & Rich Bespoke Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202501597G), trading as Ron & Rich (“Ron & Rich”, “we”, “us” or “our”), and to your use of this website. By booking an appointment, placing a commission or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
Your order confirmation forms part of your agreement with us. If anything in your order confirmation differs from these Terms, the order confirmation applies. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we look after your personal data.
Consultations and fittings are by appointment at our atelier at 80 Tras Street. You may book through this website, by WhatsApp, by telephone or by email. A booking made on this website is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email.
If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please let us know as early as possible so that we can offer the time to another client. A first consultation does not oblige you to place a Commission.
Prices shown on this website are starting prices and are given as a guide. The price of your Commission depends on the cloth, construction, details and sizing you choose, and is confirmed in your Order Confirmation.
We take care to keep the prices on this website accurate. If we discover an error in the price of a Commission you have not yet confirmed, we will tell you and you may choose whether to proceed.
Your Commission is confirmed when we have issued your Order Confirmation and received the deposit stated in it. From that point, we reserve your cloth and begin drafting your pattern.
The balance of the price is payable on or before collection of your Garments. Ownership of a Garment passes to you when it has been paid for in full, and we may hold a Garment until payment is complete. We accept the payment methods displayed at our atelier. Card payments are processed by our payment provider, and we do not keep your full card details.
We source cloth from English, Italian and other mills. Cloth is subject to the mill’s availability, and a mill may discontinue or run short of a cloth after your Commission is confirmed. If this happens, we will tell you promptly and help you choose an alternative of a similar quality.
Cloth is a natural material. Small differences in colour, pattern and texture between a swatch, a photograph and the finished Garment are normal and are not a defect. Natural fibres such as linen, wool and cotton crease, soften and change with wear, as is their nature.
If you supply your own cloth, we will make your Garment with reasonable care, but we are not responsible for faults in the cloth itself, for shrinkage or for a shortfall in the quantity you supply. We may decline cloth that is unsuitable for bespoke construction.
Your pattern is drafted from measurements and observations taken at your consultation, then refined over one or more fittings. The number of fittings depends on the Garment and on your figure, and our master tailor will advise how many are needed.
Lead times are estimates and are given in good faith. As a guide, a suit or tuxedo takes 8 to 12 weeks and trousers or shirts take 3 to 4 weeks, depending on cloth availability and your fitting schedule. Your estimated lead time is stated in your Order Confirmation.
If you need your Garments for a particular date, such as a wedding, please tell us when you place your Commission and we will tell you whether it can be achieved. Unless we have agreed a date with you in writing, we are not responsible for loss caused by a delay.
We will tell you when your Garments are ready. Garments are collected from our atelier unless we agree to deliver them. Responsibility for a Garment passes to you when you collect it, or when it is delivered to the address you give us.
Please collect your Garments within a reasonable time of our notice. We will contact you about any Garment left uncollected, and may charge reasonable storage costs or, after giving you written notice, deal with the Garment as the law allows to recover any unpaid balance.
Each Commission is cut to your own pattern and cannot be resold. For this reason, once your Commission is confirmed it cannot be cancelled for a refund, and deposits are non-refundable.
You may ask to change the design or details of a Garment before it is cut. Changes requested after cutting may not be possible, or may carry an additional charge that we will agree with you first.
This does not affect your rights where a Garment is faulty, set out in the next section.
We stand behind our work. If a Garment has a fault in our workmanship, or does not match the specification in your Order Confirmation, please tell us as soon as possible and bring the Garment to the atelier. We will inspect it and, where the fault is ours, repair, adjust or remake it.
Our promise does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from accident or misuse, cleaning or care that does not follow the care label or our advice, alterations made by anyone other than us, or changes in your figure after collection.
Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003, the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or any other law that cannot be excluded.
Your paper pattern, the drafts and the designs we create remain the property of Ron & Rich. We keep your pattern and fitting notes on file so that future Commissions can begin from them. We do not use your pattern to make garments for anyone else.
We may photograph Garments in the workroom as part of our records. We will only publish photographs or video in which you can be identified, for example on our website or social media, with your consent.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses such as loss of profit or opportunity.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with a Garment is limited to the price you paid for that Garment.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 or any other law.
We are not responsible for a delay or failure in performing our obligations that is caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as a disruption at a mill or in shipping, a public health measure, a natural event or a utility failure. If such an event affects your Commission, we will tell you and do our best to keep the delay to a minimum.
The information on this website is provided for general guidance and may change without notice. Photographs show examples of our work. Colours vary from screen to screen and may not match the cloth exactly.
