Built on legacy. Defined by craftsmanship.

A father, a son, and nearly fifty years of pattern books. Ron & Rich has cut for Singapore’s gentlemen since 1979.

Who we are

A bespoke tailor in Singapore since 1979.

Ron & Rich is a bespoke tailoring house at 80 Tras Street, Singapore. It was founded in 1979 by master tailor Richard Fan and is led today together with his son, Aaron Fan. We cut suits, jackets, shirts and trousers for gentlemen, each from an individual pattern drafted for one person.

Our tailoring is contemporary classic: traditional techniques with a modern eye. Understanding your style, preferences and personality comes first, because a garment made for you should also be made with you.

Why Ron & Rich

i

Two generations, one house

Founded in 1979 by master tailor Richard Fan and led today together with his son, Aaron Fan. The same standards, nearly fifty years on.

ii

A pattern drafted for you

Every commission starts from a new paper pattern drafted from your measurements, refined at your fittings and kept on file for the next one.

iii

Fitted on you, not on a size

A basted fitting, then adjustments on your body, until the drape, balance and fit are settled.

iv

Cut for Singapore

Full-canvas jackets on a lightweight canvas, in breathable cloth chosen for the tropics, so you stay composed from meeting to dinner.

Our Milestones

Nearly fifty years of trust, craft and quiet confidence.

The first pattern

Master tailor Richard Fan opens Ron & Rich in Singapore with a drafting table, a wall of cloth and a conviction that a suit should be made for one man alone.

The workroom

A small team, everything by hand. Patterns are drafted on paper, canvases basted and jackets shaped over the iron, one commission at a time.

A house of craft

Decade by decade the house earns its reputation. Clients return with sons and colleagues, and the pattern books grow into an archive of Singapore’s gentlemen.
